  4. You need 3 of Green Chillies.

  6. It’s 1/2 Table Spoon of Desi Ghee.
  7. Prepare 1 Tea Spoon of Jeera.

  11. It’s 1/2 Tea Spoon of Haldi Powder.
  12. You need 1 Tea Spoon of Amchoor Powder.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom and fry for a few seconds. Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and Kashmiri red chilli powder and fry for another minute. Add red chilli powder and mix well.

  1. Wash Chana properly, then soak them in water for 6-8 hours or overnight..
  2. After 6-8 hours, take a pressure cooker add Chana in it with 1 Teaspoon Salt, 2 Cups Water & close the lid..

  4. Now give 2 Whistles on high flame & 4-5 whistles on low flame..

  6. Meanwhile, chop onions very finely & grind tomatoes,Green Chillies,Ginger Garlic Paste finely into purée in a mixer grinder..

  8. After 6-7 whistles, turn off the gas & let the pressure cooker depressurise naturally..
  9. Now take a kadhai, add 1/2 Big Spoon Desi Ghee in it & keep the gas on medium flame..
  10. When ghee gets heated up, add 1 Teaspoon Jeera & 1 Pinch Hing In it & let them sizzle..
  11. When they start sizzling, add finely chopped onions in it & roast them till they turn into golden brown in colour..
  12. After 2-3 minutes, when they are 60-80% cooked, add 1/2 Teaspoon Haldi Powder in it & roast them for 30 seconds..
  13. Now add finely grinded tomato purée in it with 1 Teaspoon Salt so that they start releasing oil quickly..
  14. After 5-6 minutes, when oil is completely released, add spices mix in it & roast them for 2-3 minutes..
